The divorce statistics are absolutely staggering. Your faithfulness to God's direction and plan is very encouraging to me having worked with you for several years in Peru. We worked with Chuck (Today's Promise) both before and after our wedding day. Our time together was well spent and we left with tools we could use until death do us part. It's refreshing to have a mentor to lean on. Especially one that will tell you what you NEED to hear not what you WANT to hear.

I was always a very insecure woman with low self esteem and do to past relationships I was traumatized into thinking no man could ever be faithful to me. I believed I was ugly and unworthy of love. However, when I started to live and give my life completely over to Jesus I learned that I was more than beautiful in his sight as of course he has made me in his image. The more time I spent with God he delivered me from the strongholds of not trusting my new husband because of my past and I realized that as we sought Jesus together we grew closer and had a bond that no one could ever break as He was now the Center of our relationship. I am now a confident and loving, trusting wife and woman of God! All because I learned to TRUST GOD!

Had a few strongholds such as smoking, pornography and anger issues but when Jesus stepped in it was all wiped away. Yes, it took time, prayer and much fasting but in due time Jesus has turned it all around. Dean is now completely Pornography free, Smoke free and he is a loving husband and individual who is slow to anger. I must say he use to be a ticking time bomb but has now completely over come this stronghold.

Together as a marriage we worked and prayed hard about these changes and Jesus has honored us through our obedience. We are more than happy through Christ Jesus and thanks to the help and mentoring-instructing of Chuck and Mae as well as Pastor Rick Miller. We are now expecting our first baby and we feel blessed and honored to be able to raise this child in Gods path and Word.

When my soon to be wife and I were planning our marriage our church recommended a program to follow. This involved some classes and also meeting with a marriage counselor to prepare ourselves for this important step in life. We were blessed to have Chuck Dettman and his wife Mae lead us through this counseling. Chuck came across as very professional and his style was comforting and easy to work with and benefit from. He was pleasant and knowledgeable about the marriage counseling that we needed. I would and do recommend him for counseling to anyone I come across who is seeking or has a need for a great counselor.
